There is a special battery measuring instrument for judging whether the battery life of tangshallow is up to the replacement life, but the general users seldom have such an instrument, only one multimeter. The following several points in the maintenance to judge the quality of tangshallow battery are summarized for reference

1. Judging from the appearance: observe whether the appearance is deformed, protruded, leaking, cracked, fried, burnt, and whether there is oxide exudation at the screw connection.

2. On load measurement: if the appearance is normal, the UPS power supply works in battery mode, with a certain amount of load, if the discharge time is obviously shorter than the normal discharge time, after 8 hours of charging, the normal standby time cannot be restored, so the battery is judged to be aged.

3. Measure with Multimeter:

A. Measurement under tangshallow battery discharge mode: measure the voltage of each battery terminal in the battery pack. If the voltage of one or more battery terminals is obviously higher or lower than the nominal voltage (nominal voltage 12V / section), judge the battery aging.

B. Measurement in mains mode: the charging voltage of each battery end in the battery pack. If the charging voltage of one or more batteries is obviously higher or lower than other voltages, the battery aging is determined.

C. Measure the total voltage of the battery pack: the total voltage of the battery pack is obviously lower than the nominal value (take the nominal value of the c1k battery pack as an example). After 8 hours of charging, it can not return to the normal value. Even if it returns to the normal value, the discharge time can not reach the normal discharge time, so the battery is judged to be aging.

D. Power on measurement of Tang shallow battery when it is used in UPS power supply: the UPS power supply is not turned on, and do not connect to the mains power. First, measure the total voltage of the battery pack with a multimeter. Take c1k as an example. At this time, the voltage may be between 36v-40v, which belongs to the normal value. Do not leave the probe, and keep an eye on the indicator of the multimeter, then connect the power on key. If the total voltage of Tang shallow battery immediately drops below 30V or even 10 A few volts, UPS power automatically shut down immediately, the voltage immediately restored to the original value after shutdown. Determine battery aging.
